It is cruddy. I know you are a strong family, but man it can get tiring and rough being so tough all the time, so on that note I hope that you find a sense of release through training and doing the run. As I told my MIL whom was recently diagnosed (at 68) with celiac and has been excruciating pain because she didn't want to burden others with the new diet - YOU ARE WORTH IT! You are worth the extra effort, the planning, the time, the cute clothes, the fun snacks, whatever it takes - you are worth it! On purpose.
...I have not read Hallie's post.

On purpose.

Because I know it will force me to examine ME and how I'm taking care of myself, and just thinking about that makes me want to throw up.

But I'm proud of you for making a goal. Goals are HUGE! And a step in a positive direction, always.

My heart aches with this new diagnosis. Obviously, it isn't fair or right. Obviously, life isn't meant to be because it seems myself and my friends are being bombarded every day with challenges. I guess it's all about rising above them. One doctor appointment at a time. One blog post at a time. One goal at a time. One friend telling you they love you at a time.

Here's to kicking another diagnoses ass! Love you, friend!

And if you haven't heard this lately: YOU CAN DO THIS! (And so can Justin. He's a rockstar.)Merihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09752883120541646427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8569641350490898348.post-824908368782705312013-09-05T15:26:05.573-04:002013-09-05T15:26:05.573-04:00Woo Hoo Lora!!
